Brattan, Lenkart Take Home Weekly Honors

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's lacrosse team had a pair of Patriot League weekly award winners, the league office announced Monday afternoon. Jackie Brattan was tabbed the league's attacker of the week, while Madeline Lenkart garnered rookie of the week honors.
Brattan scored a single-game program record eight goals and matched a single-game program record with nine points in Army West Point's 18-11 victory over Lafayette on Saturday. The senior attacker moved into first-place in program history with 118 career goals. She went 2-for-3 on free position attempts and had five draw controls for the Black Knights.
Lenkart scored two goals on three shots to help Army West Point to an 18-11 victory over Lafayette. The freshman midfielder scored her first goal during the Black Knights' game-opening 7-0 run and she added the final tally of the game. She also won two draw controls and picked up one ground ball in the win.
Army will take on Boston University on the road at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 17.
