Ethridge Picks Up Rookie of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman setter Diana Ethridge earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week nods for the third time this season after a strong showing over the weekend, as announce by the league on Tuesday morning.

The Chandler, Ariz. native finished the weekend with 67 assists, two service aces, 14 digs and three block assists. Ethridge notched her eighth double-double of the season in the three-set sweep over Holy Cross recording 34 assists and ten digs. In the Black Knights' victory over Colgate, she dished out 33 assists and two service aces for the team.

The freshman ranks third in the conference for assists per set averaging 9.44 after accumulating 793 in 84 sets.

Paige Fixemer earned honorable mention nods from the league after her dominant performance against Colgate. The sophomore middle blocker recorded a season-best 19 kills on a .433 hitting clip. In the win over Holy Cross, she recorded seven kills for the team along with four total blocks.
