Ethridge Earns Rookie of the Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. --- Freshman setter, Diana Ethridge, of Army West Point volleyball was tabbed Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the second time this season after her stellar performance over the weekend.

The Chandler, Ariz. native opened the weekend with 44 assists and seven digs in Army's 3-1 win over Lafayette. She played in all four sets for the Black Knights and recorded one block. In Army's five-set win over American, Ethridge recorded her fifth double-double of the season and notched a new season-high for assists. She left the court with 61 assists, 15 digs, two service aces and one block assist.

Ethridge sits third in the league for assists per set average 9.42 with the second most assists in the league, 612 in 65 sets.

Emmy Barnhorst earned honorable mention nods from the league after her strong showing over the weekend. The middle finished with 17 kills and a .500 hitting percentage in the Black Knights' win over Lafayette. She ended the weekend with a career-high of 19 kills and a .400 hitting percentage in the Cadets' 3-2 win over American.
