Alaimo Competes at NCAA Zone Diving Championships

MORGANTOWN, W.Va., - Daniel Alaimo of the Army West Point men's diving team competed on both boards at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships this week.
The second-year diver opened postseason competition by qualifying for the finals after recording a score of 317.10 on the 3-meter in Monday's preliminary round. Alaimo then went on to post a score of 358.10 in the finals to finish eighth overall with a combined total of 675.20.
On Tuesday, he compiled a ninth-place score of 294.30 on the 1-meter in the preliminaries to earn a spot in finals. In the finals, Alaimo logged a total of 271.25, which was good for a combined score of 565.55 to help him place 16th overall.
