- The Black Knights earned their 15th-straight win at home at Michie Stadium, which is tied for the fifth longest active streak in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
- Morgan State won the toss and elected to receive.Ā
- Game captainsĀ Cole Christiansen, Kelvin Hopkins Jr.Ā andĀ Elijah RileyĀ were joined at the coin toss byĀ Connor Slomka, Rashaad BoltonĀ andĀ Jake Ellington.Ā
- The Black Knights honored the 2ndInfantry with their insignia on the back of their helmets.
OFFENSE
- Army had six different players score a touchdown, the most since seven did in a 64-6 victory over Fordham on Sept. 1, 2017.
- JuniorĀ Christian Anderson's 80-yard touchdown pass to juniorĀ Artice Hobbs IVĀ in the second quarter was the longest passing play for Army since Zac Dahman found Tielor Robinson for a 93-yard score vs. Cincinnati at Michie Stadium on Oct. 9, 2004.Ā
- Hobbs' nine-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter was his first rushing TD this season and the third rushing score of his career. With the receiving score, it was his first career multi-TD game.Ā
- Anderson finished with a career-high 75 yards on nine carries (8.3) average with a long rush of 12 yards.
- Senior running backĀ Connor SlomkaĀ ran for a career-high 110 yards on 18 carries (6.1 average) to go along withĀ Ā his 11thĀ career rushing touchdown in the third quarter.Ā
- Junior running backĀ Sandon McCoy's 11-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter marked the second of his career. He finished with 61 yards on eight carries (7.6 average) with a long rush of 15 yards.
- Sophomore running backĀ Cade BarnardĀ rushed for a career-high 62 yards on eight carries (7.8 average) and scored his first career touchdown.Ā
- SeniorĀ Rashaad BoltonĀ and freshmanĀ Anthony AdkinsĀ each scored their first career touchdowns.Ā Ā
DEFENSE
- Army's three interceptions were the most for the Black Knights in a single game since also getting three at Wake Forest on Oct. 29, 2016.Ā
- SeniorĀ Elijah RileyĀ had a hand in two takeaways, recording a forced fumble and an interception. It is his third career forced fumble (third in as many games) and fifth career interception. He has had a hand in four takeaways over the last three games.Ā Ā
- Senior defensive backsĀ Cam JonesĀ andĀ Ryan VelezĀ each tallied their first career interceptions.
- SeniorĀ Cole ChristiansenĀ led Army with 11 tackles (6 solo), marking his fifth career double-digit tackle game.Ā
- Sophomore linebackerĀ Arik SmithĀ recorded a career-high eight tackles (4 solo) to go along with a QB hurry.Ā
- SophomoreĀ Kwabena BonsuĀ tallied his second-straight game with a TFL and finished with five tackles (4 solo).
SPECIAL TEAMS
- Senior kickerĀ David CooperĀ connected on a 35-yard field goal in the second quarter. He is 2-for-2 on the season.
- Cooper converted on all six of his extra-point attempts, while freshman kickerĀ Andrew BagleyĀ successfully made his first career extra-point try.Ā
