Hallstead Tabbed First Team Academic All-District

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) has announced that junior Serica Hallstead of the Army West Point swimming and diving team received Google Cloud Academic All District® At-Large First Team honors.
CoSIDA recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom.
She is now eligible for Google Cloud Academic All-America All-America® honors, which will be announced in June.
Hallstead additionally received Academic All-Patriot League recognition earlier this season by excelling both in the classroom and on the boards. As a Life Science major, she carries a 3.98 grade-point average and is now a two-time all-district recipient.
The Canandaigua, N.Y., native had a successful season, claiming first-place finishes on both boards in five different meets, including at the annual Star Meet opposite Navy. Following a fourth-place finish on the 1-meter and a fifth-place showing on the 3-meter at the league championships, she went on to compete at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships.
