CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – For the fifth time in her freshman season, Caroline Raymond of the Army West Point women's lacrosse team was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week.
The Mahopac, N.Y., native posted her sixth hat trick of the season after tallying a trio of scores on just four shots in a home win over Bucknell in the regular season finale on Thursday. She also added a ground ball and a caused turnover opposite the Bison.
Raymond's offensive output gave her 62 points, making her the first cadet in program history to tally over 60 points in a single season.
Raymond and the Black Knights return to action on Thursday at 8 p.m. when they take on 14-ranked Navy in a service-academy rivalry matchup at Ridley Athletic Complex in Baltimore.
