COACH'S CORNER
- Interim head coach Bob Beretta – "We jumped out to the early lead on Emily's big grand slam, but we just couldn't get off the field in Boston's two big innings. We did a great job of limiting BU's offense yesterday, but we couldn't shut them down in those two innings today. We had some chances to produce more runs on offense, but we left runners on second and third in one inning and the bases loaded in another.
- "Give BU credit. They were very opportunistic yesterday and put up two big offensive innings today. I'm proud of our effort. We fought hard all weekend but couldn't break through with a win."
UP NEXT
- The Black Knights will close out the regular season on Friday when they host Saint Peter's for a doubleheader beginning at 5:30 p.m.
- Army will honor seniors Ashley Yoo, Mae Wadyka, Izzy Gates, Renee Poirier, Maddie Kim and Carrie Reilly prior to the games.
