Katsenes Leads the Way at RTJ Shootout

HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Army West Point golf team had three players in the top 10 after the first day of the RTJ Shootout at the Seven Oaks Golf Course at Colgate University.
The individual tournament concluded the first round of two this weekend with Dean Daime of Colgate leading the way with a 3-under 69 on the opening round.

- Tom Katsenes is Army's top player on the leaderboard following an opening round 71 (-1), which is tied for third.
- He had four birdies on the day for the Black Knights.
- Fellow rookie Andrew Watts finished day one with an even par round of 72 and tied for the lead in birdies during his round with five on the day.
- Sam McGee was tied with Watts on an even par round of 72.
- McGee and Watts are tied for sixth heading into the second day.
