March 11, 2019 | Women's Lacrosse
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's lacrosse team is receiving votes in the Inside Lacrosse weekly poll for the second straight week.
The Black Knights are 7-0 on the year after coming off a 14-12 home win over Virginia Commonwealth on Friday. That win also helped Army finish a perfect 5-0 at Michie Stadium during the non-league slate.
The Cadets, who are the ninth-best scoring offense in the country, are currently just one of eight teams in Division I that are undefeated. Army also sits second in the nation in draw control percentage, while ranking inside the top-20 in scoring defense.
The Black Knights will wrap up the non-league slate tomorrow afternoon in Villanova, Pa., when Army takes on Villanova at 3 p.m.
