WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's tennis dropped a 5-2 contest to NJIT on Sunday afternoon at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.

The Black Knights fell to 9-5 on the season, while the Highlanders improved to 8-1.

ARMY HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES

Army is now 8-3 in the all-time series against the Highlanders.
The Black Knights saw their four-match winning streak against NJIT snapped.
NJIT is just the third team to capture the doubles point over Army this season, along with Cornell and Virginia.
Hannah Boubel and MaryJo Pidgeon finished the weekend with a perfect 2-0 mark in singles.
Boubel and Sasha Inchauste also added a 2-0 record in doubles action.
