Black Knights Close Non-Conference Play with Win Over Bryant

WEST POINT, N.Y. – For the first time in over seven years, the Army women's basketball team had five different members reach double-digit scoring. The Cadets topped Bryant, 81-75, in their final non-conference bout of the season Sunday afternoon at Christl Arena.
Lindsey Scamman led the way with 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting from the field. Sarah Bohn contributed a career-high 15 points, all on 3-pointers. The Broadview Heights, Ohio, native was a perfect 5-of-5 from beyond-the-arc. Alisa Fallon (16 points), Kamryn Hall (14) and Hope Brown (10) were the other members that reached double-digits.

- This marked the first time since Army's matchup with Rider on Dec. 7, 2012 that the Black Knights had five members reach double-digit scoring.
- Army's 11 3-balls were the most the team has hit this season.
- Fallon extended her double-digit scoring streak to nine straight games.
- Twelve of Fallon's 16 points came in the fourth quarter.
- Additionally, Scamman has reached double-figures in her last four contests.
- Bohn's 5 made 3-pointers marked a new career high for her.
- This marked Hall's fourth double-digit scoring game of the season, while Brown now has three such games.
- Army improved to 3-2 in the all-time series with the Bulldogs.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Army started off strong with a hot shooting performance in the first quarter, jumping to a 26-15 lead. The Cadets shot 78.6 percent in the first frame, on 11-of-14 shooting. Their only misfires in the first 10 minutes of play came from 3-point range. Additionally, all seven players who saw action in the first quarter were on the scoresheet.
- The Black Knights cooled off a bit in the second quarter, while the Bulldogs began to heat up. Bryant shot 52.9 percent from the field in the second stanza, while the Cadets shot at 35.7 percent clip. The Bulldogs managed to cut the Army lead to four points heading into the half.
- Army shot the ball well from the field in the third quarter, shooting 5-of-7 from the field. Though, the Bulldogs scored 14 points off Army turnovers in the frame and managed to tie score, 58-58, heading into the final frame.
- Fallon and Scamman took over in the fourth quarter, accounting for 20 of the Black Knights' 23 points in the final stanza. The duo shot a combined 6-of-10 from the field in the fourth quarter and earned multiple trips to the charity stripe.
