HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bucknell shot 60 percent from the field in the first quarter compared to Army's 38.5 percent rate, but the Bison only held a one-point advantage through the opening 10 minutes. With just over two minutes left in the opening frame Bucknell led 14-7, but Bohn drilled her first two 3-balls of the game, which included a buzzer-beater at the end of the quarter.
- The Bison again looked to begin to distance themselves when they took a nine-point lead with 1:48 remaining in the second quarter. Though, the Cadets scored the final five points of the half to head into the halftime break trailing 30-26.
- Bohn again beat the buzzer to end the third quarter, with an acrobatic straightaway 3-ball that went in off the glass. The shot reduced Bucknell's lead to 44-36.
- The Cadets quickly closed the gap to five points with an old-fashioned 3-point play to open the fourth quarter from Hall. Though that would be the closest Army would get, as Bucknell outscored the Black Knights 19-13 to close out the contest.
UP NEXT
- Army will look to get back in the win column on Sunday when it heads to Hamilton, N.Y., to take on Colgate. Tipoff for the contest is set for 2 p.m.
