SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Army West Point hockey team was edged 4-1 by American International Saturday in game two of the weekend series.Â

Colin Bilek snapped the team's power play drought with a score 32 seconds into the second period.Â

Despite netting the first goal in the game, the Yellow Jackets answered back with four-straight scores.Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ Â
- With the game scoreless after the first period of play, the second stanza featured a scoring frenzy between AIC and Army.Â
- The Black Knights opened up the frame with a power play goal 32 seconds in.Â
- Dominic Franco and Alex Wilkinson worked the puck around the perimeter setting up Bilek for the score from the right circle.Â
- Just over a minute later, AIC scored to spark a 4-0 run.Â
- The Yellow Jackets knotted the score at 1-1 with an even strength goal by Elijah Barriga.Â
- Hunter Johannes of the Yellow Jackets scored again at the 6:53 minute mark on a breakaway to help AIC take a 2-1 lead.Â
- The third goal was netted with 3:08 remaining in the period when Jared Pike took advantage of Army's offset defense. Â
- With 17 seconds to go, AIC scored on the Black Knights' empty net.Â
HIGHLIGHTS AND GAME NOTES
- The Black Knights posted another clean sheet on the penalty kill.Â
- Army denied four extra-man opportunities and has not allowed a power play score since the season opener which spans over 394:20 minutes of action and six full games.
- Trevin Kozlowski made 18 saves in net.Â
- For the second night in a row, Bilek scored for the Black Knights.Â
- The sophomore netted goal number three of the season and 10th in his career.Â
- Bilek has reached 21 career points as well.Â
- It was his sixth power play goal in an Army sweater and second this season.Â
- Also repeating on the score sheet were Franco and Wilkinson in the assist column.Â
- Throughout his four years as a Black Knight, Franco has dished out six helpers and eight points opposite the Yellow Jackets.Â
- He leads the senior class with 77 career points.Â
- Wilkinson notched assist number two of the season and 52nd in his career.
- The senior has posted 66 career points.Â
