- The Black Knights' home winning streak was snapped at 15-straight.Â
- Army won the toss and elected to defer.Â
- Game captains Cole Christiansen, Kelvin Hopkins Jr. and Elijah Riley were joined at the coin toss by Jarrod Jones, Kell Walker and Jack King.
- The Black Knights honored the 1st Cavalry with their insignia on the back of their helmets.
- Senior quarterback Kelvin Hopkins Jr. recorded two rushing scores, marking his sixth career multi-rushing TD game.Â
- He paced West Point with 132 rushing yards on 24 attempts (5.5 average). It was his fifth career 100-yard rushing game.
- Hopkins finished with nine completions, one shy of his career-high, to go along with 170 passing yards and a touchdown to Camden Harrison. It was his ninth career TD pass.Â
- Harrison set career-bests in receptions (5) and yards (103). The receiving score was the second of his career.
- He is the first Army player to tally 100-plus yards receiving since Edgar Poe (122) did at Wake Forest on Oct. 29, 2015.Â
- In the first quarter, senior fullback Connor Slomka scored his third rushing TD of the season and the 12th of his career. He finished with 47 yards on 10 carries.Â
- Sophomore wide receiver Michael Roberts tallied his first career reception.Â
- Senior defensive back Ryan Velez recorded his first career sack and had a career-best 12 tackles (7 solo) while adding 1.5 TFLs.
- Sophomore Malkelm Morrison tallied a career-high 10 tackles (7 solo) to go along with a TFL. He entered the contest with 10 career tackles. Morrison added a half-TFL and a pass breakup.
- Freshman Jabari Moore's 54-yard fumble return was Army's first fumble return for a score since Cam Jones did it versus Houston in the Armed Forces Bowl last year.Â
- Sophomore Arik Smith recovered a fumble on Tulane's opening drive in the first quarter. It was the first recovery of his career.Â
- Army now has 12 takeaways this season and the Black Knights boast 24 points of takeaways in 2019.Â
- Senior Cole Christiansen registered 10 tackles (8 solo). It marks his sixth career double-digit tackle game.Â
