Black Knights and Bison Battle to Scoreless Draw

LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Army West Point men's soccer team picked up a point in the Patriot League standings following a scoreless double-overtime draw against Bucknell on Saturday afternoon.
The Black Knights (3-6-4, 1-3-3 Patriot League) were assertive on the offensive end, putting up 14 shots compared to seven from the Bison (5-5-5, 2-2-3 Patriot League). Army also held a slight edge in corners, 6-5.
Keenan O'Shea was responsible for majority of the Black Knights' shot attempts in the game, finishing with a team-high seven strikes. In goal, Jacob Suppiah posted a clean sheet after sending away the only two shots he saw placed on goal by Bucknell.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the closing minutes of the opening half, Army was awarded a penalty kick after a Bison foul inside the box. Oscar Pereira took the shot, but the Bison goalkeeper made a diving stop to his right to keep the Black Knights off the board.
- In the 62nd minute, Tyler Mitchiner sent a ball in the air down the field. Sam Millikan then shouldered the ball over to a sprinting O'Shea. The senior forward ripped a shot, but the Bison goalkeeper once again came up with the save.
