- Game captains Cole Christiansen, Kelvin Hopkins Jr. and Elijah Riley were joined at the coin toss by Noah Utley, Ryan Parker, and Christian Hayes.
- The Black Knights honored the 101stAirborne Division with their insignia on the back of their helmets.
OFFENSE
- Senior quarterback Kelvin Hopkins Jr. threw his ninth career TD pass. He finished with 71 yards passing and ran for 31 yards. Â
- Senior Malik Hancock recorded his first career touchdown reception. Â
DEFENSE
- Senior linebacker Cole Christiansen recorded 13 tackles (7 solo), matching his career-high, to go along with a half-sack. It marks his seventh career double-digit tackle game and third consecutive.Â
- Senior defensive back Elijah Riley notched 11 tackles (8 solo), his second career double-digit tackle game.
- He also notched his fourth sack this season, now giving him 6.5 for his career. His two pass breakups additionally match a career-best.Â
- Sophomore Arik Smith recorded nine tackles (7 solo), besting his previous high of eight.Â
- Junior defensive lineman Edriece Patterson tallied career-highs in tackles (6) and TFLs (1.5). He additionally added a half-sack.Â
- Senior defensive back Jaylon McClinton chipped in seven tackles (5 solo) to go along with a TFL.Â
SPECIAL TEAMS
- In the second quarter, senior punter Zach Potter downed a punt inside the one-yard line. He now has six punts that have landed inside the 20 this season, including four that have landed inside the 10.Â
