Army Falls to Harvard in Season Opener

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Army West Point women's rugby team fell in its 2018 season-opener at Harvard, 28-17, on Saturday afternoon.
The Black Knights dropped to 0-1 on the season, while Harvard improved to 2-0.
Junior Mary Monnard opened the scoring for Army to cut the score to 15-5 with nine minutes remaining in the first half. Army went on a run in the second half and outscored the Crimson 12-10, but it was not enough to erase the home team's hot start to the match.
