Black Knights Kick Off Season at Colgate

HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Army West Point golf team kicked off its fall season at the Alex Lagowitz Tournament at Colgate on Saturday.
The Black Knights currently sit 13th on the leaderboard after two rounds on Saturday with a team score of 603 (+27). Lafayette College is the tournament leaders at the moment with a 10-under score of 566. The final round of the two-day tournament begins Sunday morning.
TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Justin Williamson is Army's top golfer after the pair of rounds with a 3-over score of 148 by carding a 75 in round one and a 73 in the second. Williamson's score has him tied for 28th on the leaderboard.
• Thomas Katsenes bounced back in the second round with a 73 (+1) after shooting a 79 (+6) in round one.
• James McKee and Andrew Watts finished one shot apart with McKee finishing 9-over par, while Watts was 10-over.
• Lafayette's Brendan Cronin is the leader after day one, shooting a 6-under par in round one and then he fired a 69 (-3) in the second to ended up 9-under par.
