LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Army West Point golf team completed the first two rounds of the Windon Memorial Classic and currently sits 15th.Â
The Black Knights finished the opening two rounds with a team score of 295-306—601 (+25). Michigan State leads the first after shooting 9-under as a team and joins UCLA and Northern Illinois as the only teams under par after day of competition.Â
TOURNAMENT NOTES
• Justin Williamson is leading the Black Knights for the second tournament in a row with a 70 in round one, followed by a 76 to close out day one in a tie for 27th with a 2-over score of 146.Â
• Matt Plunkett currently sits one stroke behind Williamson after carding 71-76—147.
• James McKee rounds out Army's top three heading into the second day with back-to-back scores of 77 for a total of 154 (+10).
• UC Davis' Thomas Hutchison is atop the individual leaderboard as he shot a 64 in round one and a second round 73 for a total of 137 (-7).Â
