Army Prepped for Wagner, Monmouth

WEST POINT, N.Y.– The Army West Point men's tennis team will close out their final home slate of the season this weekend at the Lichtenberg Tennis Center.
The Cadets will face Wagner on Saturday at 9 a.m., followed by Monmouth at 4 p.m. The seniors will also be recognized on the court at 11:45 a.m for their accomplishments with the program.
ARMY (12-9, 4-0 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
WAGNER (7-6, 2-0 NEC)
MONMOUTH (5-13, 1-0 MAAC)

- The Cadets have won four consecutive matches on their home court, after sweeping Lafayette, Bucknell, Loyola, and Holy Cross.
- Senior Gregory Shannon earned AWPAA Athlete of the Week honors after an impressive showing in conference play.
- The Black Knights are looking to extend their win streak to five matches.
WAGNER (7-6, 2-0 NEC)
- The Seahawks recently edged out St. Francis, 4-3, last weekend.
- They are currently undefeated in conference play.
- Senior Charlton Boyd earned his 20th win this season, setting a new program record.
MONMOUTH (5-13, 1-0 MAAC)
- The Hawks defeated Niagara 6-1, in their first conference matchup of the year.
- Junior Nicola Pipoli returns as a top flight singles player for the Hawks.
- Pipoli also earned First Team All-MAAC honors last season.
