BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Army West Point men's golf team is fourth after the first two rounds at the Patriot League Championship.

Army shifted up from sixth place following the opening round to fourth after 36 holes. The Black Knights posted marks of 305-296—601 (+25) to land the fourth spot among the other seven schools. Leading the pack by a very slim margin is Loyola after it carded scores of 296-300—596 (+20). Navy and Lehigh are following closing with marks of 290-308—598 (+22) and 295-304—599 (+23), respectively.

TOURNAMENT NOTES

Rookie James McKee is leading the Army team and is tied for fifth place after sporting a 5-over par at 76-73—149.
Gunnar Doyle and Justin Williamson are both tied for 10th place after earning identical scores of 76-74—150 (+6)
Nick Turner closed out the four-man group with counting scores after notching marks of 77-75—152 (+8) to make place him tied for 19th.
Dean Sakata is tied for 22nd following his scores of 78-75 –153 (+9).
Matt Plunkett carded marks of 78-76—154 (+10) to sit tied for 26th after the opening day.
The final round will begin Sunday with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
