Cadets Complete Day One of Spring Break Classic

WEST POINT, NY – The Army West Point men's track and field team had a strong performance on day one of the UC Irvine Spring Break Classic.
Army ended the day with 28 points, which put the squad in third place at the end of the first day.

Track Events
- In the 3000 steeple chase, Alex Tosi placed seventh with a time of 9:35.08. Daniel Horoho took 13th place with a time of 9:51.04.
- Caleb Washington clocked in at 15:41.29 in the 5000-meter run which was good for 14th place.
Field Events
- Wyatt Doughty placed first in the hammer throw with a distance of 60.30m. Jacob Stauffer finished fifth with a distance of 51.90m. Michael Renard threw for 39.13m which was good for 14th.
- Army took 4-7 in the javelin throw. Jack O'Brien finished fourth with a distance of 59.88m, with Grayson Hill right behind with 59.33m. August Cook (59.28m) finished sixth and Michael Gabrielsen (54.34m) finished in seventh.
