Army's Initial Bowl Ticket Allotment Sold Out

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Army West Point Athletics has announced that it has sold out of its initial ticket allotment for the upcoming Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl.
Fans still have the opportunity to give back to those serving our country by donating tickets for cadets or soldiers to attend the bowl game free of cost. To donate, visit https://www.westpointaog.org/supportarmyfootball .
The Black Knights (10-2) are taking on Houston (8-4) in the Armed Forces Bowl on Dec. 22 at Amon G. Carter Stadium. The game will be live on ESPN at 2:30 p.m. Central. Fans can also follow along on the Army Sports Network with the pregame show starting at 1:30 p.m. Central.Â

No. 22/25 Army is riding an eight-game winning streak after defeating Navy for the third straight year on Saturday. The Black Knights have won 10 games in consecutive years for the first time in program history and its winning streak is the longest since 1996. With the win over Navy, Army captured the Commander in Chief's Trophy outright in back-to-back seasons for the first time in school history.Â
Houston finished the regular season with losses in three of its last four games, but the Cougars were 5-1 earlier in the season. Houston has no problem scoring points as the Cougars put up 46.4 points per game, but have allowed opponents to put over 34 points per contest on the scoreboard. They are averaging 528 yards of total offense as well.
