Horace Collects Postseason Award

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Junior captain Courtney Horace of the Army West Point volleyball team was named to the All-Patriot League Second Team, announced by the league on Tuesday.

Horace garnered the postseason honor for the first time in her career. This season, she averaged 2.76 points per set.
Â
The Easton, Pa., native posted 259 kills and had a 2.56 kills per set average which was a team-high. Horace added 32 blocks on the year and registered 1.19 digs per set.
Â
Horace totaled 10 double-digit kill matches and hit over .300 on four occasions. The junior captain boasted her first two career double-doubles this season in games against Navy and Lehigh.

Army defeated American for the first time since 2012 as it was also the first time topping the Eagles at home since 2009. The Cadets finished tied for third in league standings with a 9-7 record after winning five of their last six games of the regular season.
