WENDER'S WORDS
"It hurts to lose such a close meet, but I am very proud of our team today," head coach Mickey Wender said. "We fought hard and executed our race plans well. We were focused on the process and learned a lot. I'm not much for moral victories, but this was a huge step forward for us. We came up short against a very good UConn team, but we will learn and grow from this. The best is yet to come."
