Men's Swim & Dive Welcome Lehigh on Tuesday

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Following a one-month hiatus, the Army West Point men's swimming and diving team returns to action on Tuesday to host Lehigh in a Patriot League dual meet slated for 4:30 p.m. at Crandall Pool.

ARMY NOTABLES

The Black Knights fell to service-academy rival Navy, 209.5-90.5, in their first league dual meet of the season.
Army claimed three event wins against the Midshipmen.
Johnny Ellery highlighted the meet for Army by setting an Academy record 200 fly, while also winning the 100 fly.
Army is a perfect 45-0 in dual meets against Lehigh, dating back to 1921.

LEHIGH NOTABLES

Lehigh is 4-3 on the season and 2-1 in Patriot League meets and ride a three-meet winning streak.
The Mountain Hawks took 14 events in their 219-80 victory over local rival Lafayette on Nov. 17.
Dean Shafritz placed first in the 100 and 200 backstroke, while also aiding his squad in the 200 medley relay victory.
Tyler Keller led all divers for Lehigh by winning both the 1-meter (261.60) and 3-meter (238.96) dives.

"Our team is focused and ready for the home stretch of the season," head coach Mickey Wender said. "We learned a lot during the first semester and have a lot of unfinished business to take care of. Our training camp in Florida was extremely productive in and out of the pool and sets us up nicely for the next few meets. Lehigh is a much improved and well-coached team. We're looking forward to some great races this evening."
