NORFOLK, Va. – The Army West Point women's swimming and diving team earned College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of American Scholar All-America honors for the fall semester on Monday afternoon.
"We are honored to be recognized as Scholar All-Americans," head coach Mickey Wender said. "Our athletes work incredibly hard- in and out of the pool. I know they are very proud to be awarded this distinction."
In order to qualify for the recognition, a team must post a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester.
As a squad, the Black Knights compiled a 3.0 GPA in the fall term.
The Cadets return to the pool on Feb. 14 for the four-day long Patriot League Championships that are set to take place in Annapolis, Md.
