Army Heads to Lafayette for Midweek Tilt

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's soccer team continues Patriot League play at Lafayette on Wednesday with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.
This will be the 28th meeting between the two squads with the Black Knights holding a 23-2-2 edge in the all-time series.

ARMY (2-7-1, 0-2-0 Patriot League)
• In the last meeting, Army defeated the Leopards, 2-1, on Sept. 24, 2016.
• Samantha Sullenger scored the first goal of the game last season, while Sam Gottlieb netted the game-winner in the 53rd minute.
• The Black Knights have won their last five meetings with Lafayette and are 8-0-2 in the last decade.
• Four different Cadets have scored goals this season: Clare Shea, Lauryn Westman, Brianna Nicholas and Lizzie Harper.
• Shea leads the team with two assists and four points.
• Between the posts, rookie Sydney Cassalia sports a 1.32 goals-against average and a .723 save percentage with 34 stops to her credit.

• First-year Krista Kissell was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after scoring her first goal in a 1-1 draw against Holy Cross on Saturday.
• Katie Brannigan leads the team in points (6), goals (2) and is tied for second in assists (2).
• Gabrielle Martone has dished out a team-high three helpers on the season.
• Eight different Leopards have scored a goal in 2017.
• Maggie Pohl has started all eight games in goal, while Kelly O'Brien has seen the majority of time between the posts.
• Pohl sports a 1.75 goals-against average and a save percentage of .741 in 360 minutes of play.
• O'Brien has played 404:05 with a 1.78 goals-against average and a .765 save percentage.
