FIELD EVENTS
"Coming into this meet I felt like we could finish in the middle of the conference if the people we brought competed to their potential. Today despite some of the worst conditions that I have ever experienced at a championship meet. We exceeded my expectations. The wind was powerful and the rain was torrential. Ramsey Wagner ran really well in the 10k, the sprint/hurdle women qualified well, and we scored some nice points in the discus and pole vault. We brought 23 women to the meet, we have a lot of points to pick up tomorrow and we need all 23 to get the job done. Right now we are positioned well."
