Army Finishes Fourth VGA Collegiate Invite

BALTIC, Conn. – The Army West Point men's golf team completed competition at the VGA/UConn Collegiate Invitation in fourth scoring 874 (+10).

The Black Knights shot 289 (+1) during the first round, 292 (+4) during the second round and 293 (+5) in the final round of play.

Senior Peter Kim and junior Dean Sakata both ended the event tied for sixth sitting even with par. Kim scratched 71-74-71 – 216 and Sakata tallied 70-69-77 – 216. Nick Turner finished tied for 11th with a line of 73-74-72 – 219 (+3). The final two Cadets to score is Gunner Doyle who is T-33rd after scoring 226 (+10) and Justin Williamson in T-55th with a score of 239 (+23).
