Wrestling Returns to Action with EIWA Doubleheader

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point wrestling team returns to action with two Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association (EIWA) matchups against No. 14 Lehigh and Bucknell this weekend.
The Black Knights will face the Mountain Hawks on Friday in Bethlehem, Pa., at 7 p.m., before returning to West Point on Sunday for a 2 p.m., battle with the Bison at Gillis Field House.

ARMY (6-3, 4-1 EIWA)
• The Black Knights return to action after a week off riding a five-match winning streak.
• Army received votes in the latest NWCA Coaches' Poll for the first time under the direction of third-year head coach Kevin Ward.
• The Cadets are led in wins by junior Jack Wedholm with 22, while senior co-captain Russ Parsons is in second with 21.
• Wedholm also holds team bests in bonus-point wins (12) and major decisions (seven), while Parsons leads in technical falls (six).
• Senior Samson Imonode has the best record in duals this season with a mark of 8-1.
