WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's swimming and diving team closed out Crandall Pool for the final event of the swimming and diving season with the Army Invite.

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's swimming and diving team closed out Crandall Pool for the final event of the swimming and diving season with the Army Invite.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Garrett Simon won the 500 free in a time of 4:39.48, which was a career best, while Peter Mikheyev took second, clocking in at 4:40.63.
- Mikheyev then got back in the pool and won the 200 individual medley in a time of 1:50.97, winning by over a second over teammate Austin Beam.
- Mikheyev also took home a win in the 400 IM with a time of 3:59.41.
- Army filled the lineup in the 50 free and Hogan Harper outdueled Andrew Zhugayevich by .14 of a second with a victory at 20.72 seconds. The time was career best for Harper.
- Harper followed that performance up with another win, this time coming in the 200 free with a time of 1:40.57, crushing his personal best time by over five seconds.
- Kevin Doo swam to a win in the 100 fly and it was a season best time of 48.99 seconds.
- Brady Almand won the 100 breast in a career best time of 55.49 seconds, outlasting Aaron Salinas.
- Josh Sembrano took him the win in the 100 back, clocking in at 50.24 seconds, narrowly defeating Grant Levasseur, who finished in 50.64 seconds.
- Jason Hunt earned the victory in the 1650 free in a time of 16:08.61, while Kyle Marshall won the 200 back in a personal best time of 1:48.62.
- Nathan Hein finished in first place in the 100 free, taking the win at 45.36 seconds, while Zhugayevich came in a close second at 45.88 seconds.
- Doo finished the day with a time of 1:48.81 in the 200 fly to win the event by over two seconds and the time was a personal best.
- Hudson Kay scored a win on the 1-meter board with point total of 320.23, which was a career best. He earned the sweep with a score of 292.58 in the 3-meter dive.
