Army Hosts Lehigh at Christl on Saturday

WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point women's basketball team is hoping to clinch home court advantage in the Patriot League quarterfinals as the Black Knights host Lehigh Saturday at 3 p.m. at Christl Arena.
Army can clinch home court in the quarterfinals with a win or a Boston University loss on Saturday, Tomorrow Army will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day presented by St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital and wear pink during the game.Â

• Army faces Lehigh for 63rd time in the all-time series, the Black Knights are currently riding a four-game winning streak heading into Saturday's clash.
• Sophomore Madison Hovren has been Army's most consistent offensive player this season, but the Black Knights have had more balanced scoring of late. At least three Army players have scored in double figures in six of their last seven games, with Hovren reaching double digits in six, and junior Aliyah Murray reaching double digits in five. Murray finished with a career-high 20 points at Navy on Feb. 18 and pulled down a career best 16 rebounds at Boston U.
• Destinee Morris has reached double-digits in four of her last six coming off the bench, including 14 in back-to-back outings.
• Hovren led the Black Knights with 28 points and 13 boards in the previous meeting against Lehigh on Dec. 30.

• Army leads the series with the Mountain Hawks, 32-30, all-time and holds an 18-10 advantage at West Point.
• In the last meeting, Army hit its free throws down the stretch and Hovren finished with a then career high 28 points and pulled down 13 boards for a double-double in the 75-71 win. Hovren went a perfect 12-for-12 from the free-throw line as Army shot 89.5 percent at the stripe. Junior Janae McNeal totaled 11 points and eight rebounds, and Murray finished with nine points and eight boards.
LEHIGH (9-18, 4-12 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
• The Mountains erased a 20-point deficit against Colgate in the second half, but was unable to come away with the win on Wednesday with a 75-70 loss on the road.
• Quinci Mann led the Mountain Hawks with 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting and 5-of-9 from three-point range.
• Mann is Lehigh's top threat with an average of 15.9 points per game.
