Bradshaw Earns Army Athlete of the Week Accolades

WEST POINT, N.Y. - Ahmad Bradshaw ran for an Army quarterback record 265 yards on 23 carries in the Black Knights' 21-0 victory at Air Force on Saturday.Â
Bradshaw average 11.5 yards per carry in the game and 15 of his 23 rushes were for first downs. Bradshaw ran for a career high 265 yards, including 164 in the first half. Bradshaw now has 2,424 yards in his career and passed Army West Point Hall of Famer Charlie Jarvis for eighth all-,me on the career rushing list.
Bradshaw was the first quarterback to rush for 200 or more yards since Trent Steelman's record breaking performance in 2012 against Eastern Michigan. He was the first player to rush for 200 or more yards since Terry Baggett rushed for 304 against Eastern Michigan in 2013. Bradshaw ran for his eighth touchdown of the season and 21st of his career and he is now tied for 11th in Army history with 21 rushing touchdowns. Bradshaw ran for over 100 yards for the fifth time this season and the 10th time in his career. Bradshaw now has 10 career 100-yard rushing game, which is tied for seventh all-time.Â
The Black Knights are home this weekend against Duke on CBS Sports Network and the Army Sports Network. Army will honor its seniors prior to the game.Â
