WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team will look to grab another victory before the Thanksgiving break as NJIT is welcomed to Christl Arena for a non-conference meeting slated for 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Â

• In Army's convincing, 71-37, win over LIU Brooklyn on Monday night, the Black Knights put together their best defensive performance of the season. The Blackbirds were held to 22-percent shooting on 13 makes and were denied double-digit points in three of four quarters.
• Army ranks inside the top three in the Patriot League in assists per game and has dished out double-digit assists in all four games. Over the past three outings, the Black Knights have assisted on 68 percent of their made shots.
• Army's scoring this season has come predominantly from its six senior cadet-athletes. The group has accounted for 56 percent of the team's points and has put up the most points out of all the other classes in each of the four games.
• Janae McNeal started and had eight points, five assists and four rebounds in Army's last meeting with NJIT.

• NJIT played to an 11-19 overall mark and finished 4-10 in conference play last season, ultimately falling to Kennesaw State, 62-60, in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament.
• Tatianna Torres was named to the preseason all-league team and ranks second for NJIT in scoring at 9.5 points per game, while Taj Lewis leads the way with 10.8 points per contest.
• Despite being outscored by a combined 81 points in the first two games of the season, NJIT has improved on both ends of the floor as each of the last two outings have been decided by seven points or fewer. In the last two games combined, Lewis has totaled 31 points and 16 rebounds.
