Army Set to Host Black Knight Invite on Sunday

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point wrestling team will host its first event of the 2017-18 season with the Black Knight Invite on Sunday at Christl Arena.

The tournament begins at 10 a.m., while the doors open to the public at 9 a.m. The event is free to attend.

• The Black Knights are coming off a strong showing at the Journeyman Collegiate Classic last weekend.
• Knox Fuller (149 lbs., C bracket), Noah Stewart (184 lbs., B bracket), Jeremiah Imonode (184 lbs., C bracket) and Rocco Caywood (197 lbs., B bracket) each earned first-place finishes, led by Stewart's 4-0 performance.
• The Lewistown, Pa., native posted four bonus point victories at the event with two falls, a technical fall and a major decision.
• Luke Hodsden and Taylor Brown are tied for the team lead in wins with eight.
• Brown and Stewart have recorded a team-best six bonus point victories.
