WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team closes out its two-game road trip with a matchup against Lafayette on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Opening tip in Easton, Pa., is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Army and Lafayette will go head-to-head for the second time this season in Easton, Pa.
The first meeting between the schools this year came on Jan. 5, with the Black Knights earning a 76-73 win in triple overtime, for just the third triple overtime game in Patriot League women's basketball history, and Army's second such game after a triple-overtime game against Navy on March 1, 2003.
Junior Aliyah Murray started for the second straight time on Saturday at Bucknell, and netted 13 points to lead the Cadets. Classmate Janae McNeal came off the bench to also add 13 points for Army.
THE ARMY-LAFAYETTE SERIES
The Black Knights hold a 37-24 advantage in their rivalry with the Leopards, including wins in each of the last four games in the series. Most recently, Army and Lafayette played into triple overtime, with the Cadets earning the 76-73 win on Jan. 5, 2017 at West Point. The triple-overtime affair was just the third triple-overtime game in Patriot League women's basketball history.
ARMY (14-6, 5-4 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
• Army trailed Bucknell, 31-28, at the half, but the Bison opened the third quarter with an 18-9 run to boost their advantage to 13 points, 50-37, with 2:29 left in the period.
• Four Black Knights finished in double figures, including McNeal (13 points) Murray (13 points), junior Destinee Morris (10 points), and sophomore Madison Hovren (11 points).
• Army came back to make it a one-point game, 60-59, after jumper from Murray with 2:45 left in the fourth, but Bucknell outscored Army, 8-3, during the remainder of Saturday's action.
LAFAYETTE (1-20, 0-9 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
• Lafayette enters the week after falling to a 75-47 defeat at Loyola on Saturday.
• Olivia Gumbs and Ashley Lutz each netted 10 points to lead the Leopards in the game.
• Gumbs has led Lafayette in the scoring department six times this season, and has been the team's top rebounder during 10 games. She paces the Leopards with 7.7 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game

Army returns to Christl Arena on Saturday, Feb. 4 for the first of back-to-back home games, beginning with a tilt against Loyola at 1 p.m.
