- The Black Knights (3-6, 1-5 GARC) are hosting Great American Rifle Conference opponent Akron for the first time this season.
- In their last meeting, the Cadets faced Nebraska and fell to the Cornhuskers with an aggregate score of 4647-4665.
- Payne Nunn and Marvin Lewis were the top two contributors from the team scoring 1168 and 1167, respectfully.
SCOUTING AKRON
- The last time the Zips competed was at the Zippy Open, which was a five-day competition with over 140 individual competitors.
- Akron finished first overall shooting an aggregate score of 4,614.
