Sophomore Madison Hovren registered her fifth straight double-double on Wednesday at Colgate and now has 11 on the season. Her 11 double-doubles rank tied for third nationally and she is one of just two players across Division I to average at least 20.0 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game. Hovren enters the weekend with 21.5 points per game and 11.0 rebounds per game, while Northwestern's Nia Coffey averages 20.8 points per game and 11.2 rebounds per game.
Hovren tied an Army single-game record with 22 rebounds at Colgate on Wednesday, equaling the mark set by Army Hall-of-Famer Pam Pearson (USMA '86) against St. Francis (Ill.) on Jan. 2, 1984.

American holds an 18-16 lead against Army in an all-time series that began on Dec. 31, 1996. The Black Knights have won both matchups last season, with an 87-51 win at West Point and a 52-42 victory at American. Army has also won four straight versus American at Christl Arena, dating back to a 61-46 home win during the 2012-13 season.
