WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team makes the trip to Hamilton, N.Y., to face Colgate on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at noon. The earlier start time is due to the Raiders hosting a Kids Game promotion.

STORYLINES
Sophomore Madison Hovren notched her fourth straight double-double on Sunday at Loyola and now has 10 on the season. Her 10 double-doubles rank fourth nationally and she is one of just two players across Division I to average at least 20.0 points per game and 10.0 rebounds per game. Hovren comes into the week with a Patriot League-best 20.9 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game, while Northwestern's Nia Coffey averages 20.8 points per game and 11.2 rebounds per game.

Hovren earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors for the second week in a row, and for the fifth time this season on Monday. She is two behind the Patriot League single-season-record seven Player of the Week awards Kelsey Minato (USMA '16) earned last year. Minato also holds the record for career Player of the Week honors (17).

THE ARMY-COLGATE SERIES
Army owns a 40-22 advantage versus Colgate in a rivalry that dates back to Jan. 10, 1984. The Cadets have won six straight in the series, including 3-0 sweeps of the Raiders in each of the past two seasons, as both squads met in the Patriot League quarterfinals in 2014-15 and 2015-16.

Colgate is Army's second most-frequent opponent, with the teams having played 62 times (second to Navy – 66 times).

ARMY (11-4, 2-2 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
• Army dropped back to .500 in Patriot League play after a 71-62 loss at Loyola on Jan. 8.
• Hovren tallied her 10th double-double of the season, with 19 points and 10 rebounds. The double-double was her fourth in a row. She is the first Army player to have at least 10 double-doubles in a season since Erin Anthony (USMA '11) finished with 13 double-doubles in 2010-11.
• Junior Aliyah Murray netted nine points off the bench, and classmate Janae McNeal finished with eight points and a season-high-tying eight rebounds.
• Army trailed by 18 points early in the contest before getting back to a three-point deficit with 6:03 remaining in the fourth quarter, but didn't come any closer in the nine-point setback.

COLGATE (5-10, 2-2 PATRIOT LEAGUE)
• Colgate suffered an 80-67 home defeat against Navy on Sunday to move to 2-2 in Patriot League action.
• Kateri Stone led Colgate with 19 points and Mylah Chandler added nine points and nine rebounds.
• The Raiders are led in the scoring department by Katie Curtis (12.5 points per game), while Chandler is the team's top rebounder (7.8 rebounds per game.
