Women’s Rugby Journeys to Central Washington

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's rugby team is traveling across the country to face Central Washington on Saturday for a 2 p.m. ET kickoff.
This will be the first-ever meeting between the Black Knights and the Wildcats.
ARMY (2-1, 2-1 NIRA)
• The Black Knights are riding a two-match winning streak after defeating Dartmouth, 63-12, and AIC, 39-14.
• Junior wing Rebecca Stipp leads the squad with 32 points and six conversions.
• Stipp ranks second in tries with four behind junior Sydney Hawkins, who has dotted down five times in three games.
• Army has stayed with a fairly consistent lineup as 11 players have started every game thus far.
CENTRAL WASHINGTON (2-2, 0-0 NIRA)
• This is the Wildcats' season opener and conference opener in the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA).
• Central Washington can produce offense in many different ways as nine players have scored tries in the first four games.
• Leading the way in that group is Fumie Reyes, who scored three tries in a doubleheader split against Letherbridge on Sept. 10.
