Strong Named Army’s Athlete of the Week

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Freshman Allie Strong of the Army West Point volleyball team was named the Army Athletic Association's Athlete of the Week this week thanks to her outstanding performance over the weekend as the team went undefeated and won the Dartmouth Tournament title.

- Strong was named the Most Valuable Player at the Dartmouth Tournament where she accumulated 43 kills for the Black Knights as they won all four matches in three-straight sets.
- The Overland Park, Kan., native averaged 3.58 kills per set and added 30 digs. She also notched six blocks and six service aces across the 12-set weekend.
OTHER WEEKLY RECOGNITION
- Due to her performance, Strong was given Rookie of the Week distinction from the Patriot League for the second week in a row.
