Girardot Posts Season-Best on Day One of ECAC’s

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Army West Point men's track and field team saw four athletes run across two events on Friday at the ECAC/IC4A Championships. The highest-placing Black Knight was Tom Girardot who finished in 10th in the 3,000 Meter Steeplechase. The time of 9:02.53 was a season-best for any Cadet. Eddie Owens of Princeton won the event (8:46.47).
Freshman Kenneth Brinson kicks-off the action for Army in the first event of the day, the Men's Hammer Throw at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. A number of Black Knights that won Patriot League titles will be in action throughout the day.
