Men’s Tennis Prepares for League Championships
April 27, 2016 | Men's Tennis
WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point men's tennis team travels down to Bethlehem, Pa., this weekend for the Patriot League Championships. The Black Knights, who earned the second seed in the tournament, will face seventh-seeded Loyola (Md.) in the quarterfinals. That match is slated for Friday, April 29 at 2:00 p.m. It will be pushed back to 6:00 p.m. if the weather forces the match indoors.
"We just need to get some energy back, some confidence back, and be aggressive," said Army head coach Jim Poling on what the team needs to do to be successful this weekend. "I think we can turn this around. We're in about four inches of water and some guys think we're going to drown. We're far from it."
