Men’s Rugby Opens Spring at Home Against Dartmouth

WEST POINT, N.Y. – The 16th-ranked Army West Point men's rugby team opens its spring season in the confines of Anderson Rugby Complex on Saturday, March 5, for a noon kickoff against Dartmouth.

STORYLINES
The Black Knights continue their 15's season after posting a 5-3 record in the fall while going 5-2 in Rugby East action. Army won its first five matches, including taking down a pair of ranked opponents in No. 9 Wheeling Jesuit, 35-23, and No. 8 Penn State, 46-36. The Cadets outscored their opponents in the fall, 324-185.
THE ARMY-DARTMOUTH SERIES
This will be the first time Army will face off against Dartmouth since becoming a varsity sport in 2014.

Army will continue its spring season with a road trip to the Rocky Mountains for a pair of matches against some of the top teams in the nation. The Black Knights open at BYU on March 17 before traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah, to face No. 5 Utah.
