WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team plays host to American in a Patriot League matchup scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13 at 3 p.m.

After winning its 10th consecutive game at Colgate on Feb. 10, Army returns home to Christl Arena to host American on Saturday.

The 10-game winning streak marks the fourth double-digit streak in team history, and the third under 10th-year head coach Dave Magarity. The Black Knights won a team-record 12 straight contests in 2006-07 before winning 11 in a row last season.

Senior Kelsey Minato scored 29 points to raise her career scoring total to 2,336 points and become the Academy's career scoring leader, passing Kevin Houston's (USMA '87) previous record of 2,325.

THE ARMY-AMERICAN SERIES
American leads Army, 18-15, in an all-time series dating back to Dec. 31, 1996. The Black Knights have won six of the last seven meetings in the series, including a 52-42 victory earlier this year in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 16. American earned a 45-42 home win over Army on Feb. 21 last season to snap an 11-game winning streak for the Black Knights.

ARMY WEST POINT (20-2, 11-1 PATRIOT LEAGUE) NOTES
• Minato shot 10-of-17 from the floor, to include a 5-of-7 showing from three-point range in the Colgate game.
• Senior Aimee Oertner hit the double-digit scoring mark for the third game in a row, finishing with 12 points, to go along with four rebounds and three blocks.
• Sophomore Janae McNeal provided eight points and six rebounds, while classmates Destinee Morris and Aliyah Murray each added six points to lead an Army bench that scored 25 points.
• The Black Knights led the Raiders, 31-24, with 2:51 remaining in the first half, but Army used an 11-0 run to close the second quarter and take a 42-25 lead into the locker room.
• Sophomore Margaret Anne Hubbell made three free-throws to begin the run, while Minato netted eight points in a row to close out the 2:31-scoring stretch. With the win, Army reached 20 victories for the season, marking its fourth straight 20-win season and the 10th in the team's 39-year history.

• American collected a 79-33 home victory over Boston University on Feb. 10.
• Senior Ari Booth led the way with 22 points for the Eagles, while sophomore Emily Kinneston and freshman Cecily Carl added 13 points and 10 points, respectively.
• Boston University's 33 points marked the fewest by an American opponent this season, and the second time the Eagles have held their opponent to under 40 points (37 at Colgate, Jan. 2).
• American took control early in Wednesday's game, building a 22-7 lead at the end of the first quarter before increasing their margin to 27, 39-12, by halftime.
