CHICAGO, ILL. - The Army West Point golf team was downed by Northwestern in the Bush Cup on Friday, 10.5-1.5.

HOW IT HAPPENED – MORNING FOURSOMES

Brian Stecker and Max Messner lost, 6 & 4, vs. Conor Richardson and Luke Miller.

Matt Plunkett and Justin Pagila halved their match vs. Peter Griffith and Dylan Wu. Army held a 2-up advantage heading into the final two holes, but Northwestern made birdie on Nos. 17 and 18 to halve the match.

Nick Turner and Justin Williamson lost, 4 & 2 vs. Everton Hawkins and Andrew Whalen

Peter Kim and Gunnar Doyle lost, 1-up, to Ryan Lumsden and Sam Triplett.

The Black Knights trailed the Wildcats, 3.5-0.5 heading into the afternoon singles matches
