WEST POINY, N.Y. - The Army West Point golf team finished the first day of its matchup against rival Navy trailing, 3-1. The two academies competed in four-ball matches during the morning.

As a team we didn't execute shots when we needed it most and Navy had a great day on the greens as they didn't miss many putts," said Head Coach Brian Watts. "The team is looking forward to tomorrow and knowing what they need to do. We will have a good practice session this afternoon and be ready in the morning when our first man goes off at 0900.
