Army trailed by 10 late in the first half during its last meeting against Bucknell, on Feb. 15, 2015. DIALED IN FROM DOWNTOWN
Army has continued to shoot the three-pointer well this year after finishing each of the last three seasons atop the Patriot League in three-point shooting percentage (2012-13: 33.3 // 2013-14: 37.2 // 2014-15: 35.4). Through 11 contests this season, the Black Knights have made 41.2 percent of their three-point attempts and currently stand first in the Patriot League and fourth among the nation's Division I programs in the category.
Army's long-range success is due, in large part, to two of the most-accurate three-point shooters in Academy history, in Minato and Parker. Minato paces the team with 33 triples and stands fifth in the conference with a 44.0 percentage from deep. Parker has converted 22 shots from beyond the arc and ranks second in the league, and eighth nationally, at 50.0 percent. Minato is Army's career leader in three-pointers, with 254, while Parker ranks fifth in team history with 113.
